Russia’s trade ministry says not all marketplace warehouses damaged in Ukrainian drone strikes need to be rebuilt

Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry says it will decide by the end of 2026 whether every logistics complex hit by Ukrainian drone strikes since mid-June actually needs rebuilding. Deputy minister Roman Chekushov said it's too early to commit to full restoration of the same facilities that existed before.

The strikes have repeatedly hit Wildberries's largest warehouses and later spread to Ozon's facilities, with damage to Wildberries and its sellers estimated at hundreds of billions of rubles by early August. In late August the government approved support measures, including a tax deferral, for the affected sellers and the marketplace itself.
