Ukrainian drones strike southern Russia, killing two and sparking a fire at an oil refinery

Ukrainian drones struck Russia's Krasnodar Krai overnight on August 25, according to regional governor Veniamin Kondratyev, hitting the Seversky district. Debris fell on the Afipskaya railway station, killing two people and injuring two others, while at least 10 homes in the town of Afipsky were damaged and one caught fire.

A fire also broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery, confirmed by the governor and Ukrainian Telegram channels, marking at least the second reported strike on that facility since mid-July.
