Russian ballistic strike litters Kyiv districts with debris

A Russian ballistic missile attack overnight into August 27 scattered debris across Kyiv's Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration. Fragments landed on the grounds of an educational institution and in the courtyard of a residential building; casualty and damage information was still being confirmed.

The strike was part of a wider combined attack using ballistic missiles and drones that also hit Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, and Poltava and Sumy oblasts overnight, with an industrial enterprise in Kryvyi Rih struck and at least two civilians injured there.
