There is a particular kind of embarrassment in watching someone's own cheerleader turn the pom-poms into a picket sign. Asking a foreign government to lay off enemy fuel refineries because your own prices are too high is the sort of thing that sounds like a joke until you read it twice and realize nobody was kidding. Greene didn't need an opposition researcher to make this case, the pump did it for her.
