The Buffalo Bills are giving defensive tackle Ed Oliver space and support after his 2-year-old son died in an accidental drowning in a residential pool in Harris County, Texas, on June 28.

Teammates including quarterback Josh Allen and general manager Brandon Beane offered condolences following Saturday's preseason win over Cleveland, with Oliver having requested privacy while he grieves.

Coach Joe Brady said the team's role is simply to support Oliver without intruding, as he continues his eighth season with the franchise.
