Moldova celebrated its 35th independence anniversary with a Chisinau parade that included Ukrainian troops, alongside units from Romania, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, France, Czechia, and the United States. President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Vasile Tofan, and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu watched from the capital's central square.

More than 100 pieces of military equipment were on display, including self-propelled artillery and air defense systems, some purchased over the past year with EU financial support. Zelenskyy attended, and later joined Sandu and Romanian President Nicusor Dan for a public meeting with citizens in the square.
