Hurricane Isaias tore through Pensacola, Florida, knocking down trees, power lines, and parts of homes, including the Welcome Mat Mobile Home Park where residents like Cher Stanturf found a wall of their trailer gone. More than 448,000 Florida electricity customers lost power, with some counties, including Santa Rosa at 90 percent, seeing nearly total outages; over 400,000 customers were still without power by mid-afternoon.

Neighbors spent the morning clearing debris and comparing notes on near-misses and losses, including a family that had already lost a home to Hurricane Milton and a business to Hurricane Helene before relocating to Pensacola. Gov. Ron DeSantis said officials were inspecting the grid. Two deaths were reported in Florida following the storm.
