Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a Russian Su-24 tactical bomber at Saky airbase in occupied Crimea and hit a drone storage and launch facility near Donetsk, the General Staff reported, with damage from the Crimea strike still being verified.
Additional strikes hit drone control posts in Staromlynivka, Pokrovsk and Pokrovske, an ammunition depot in Dovzhansk, fuel storage in Rovenky and Berdyansk, and radar-equipped observation posts in occupied Crimea.
The report notes this is at least the fourth publicized strike on Saky airbase since July, following incidents in July, August and August 22 that separately claimed destruction of Su-24M bombers and damage to the airfield's control tower.
