President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine will resume strikes on Russian oil refineries, telling the Financial Times “we're done” after a three-day pause requested by Washington. He said Russia kept attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure during that window, killing more than 100 civilians over the week.

Zelensky said the US threatened to cut intelligence sharing if Ukraine didn't stop hitting refineries, but gave no warning about incoming Russian ballistic missiles. He also rejected the idea that recent Starlink terminal restrictions were a technical glitch, saying flatly, “it was the will,” and indicated he could accept a refinery pause in exchange for more Patriot missile shipments.

✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
Asking one side of a war to hold its fire while the other side keeps bombing power plants is not a truce, it's a handicap with a press release attached. Zelensky's math is pretty simple: he stopped for three days, got no warnings in return, and watched the strikes on his own cities continue anyway. Calling that an energy truce is like calling a one-way stop sign a four-way intersection.
