South Park's latest episode, still airing under the self-mocking title 'South America,' revived its live-action deepfake Trump character in a closing gag involving the same cartoon-eyed sight gag introduced last season. The episode's main plot followed Butters battling a billionaire-run data center called Billionaire Weenietown, before cutting to the Trump bit set to audio from the administration's real public-service-style promotional videos.

The show previously introduced the deepfake Trump bit as a mock PSA, which the White House at the time dismissed as irrelevant; the network has continued using it anyway.

The full dispatch is available from the source below.

✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
When the White House calls a cartoon irrelevant, that's usually the surest sign somebody in the building watched it twice. A show that names its villain Billionaire Weenietown isn't hiding the ball, and an administration that cuts its own promotional videos ought not be shocked when somebody else finds a better use for the audio. Thin skin and a long run on cable never did mix well.
