Concealed-carry apparel CEO Amy Robbins told a CNN panel that White House aide Natalie Harp, 35, 'should be the poster child for modern-day feminists' because she 'climbed the corporate ladder,' didn't sleep or eat, and 'sacrificed herself' for her job.

The comment followed reporting on fawning letters Harp allegedly sent Trump in 2023 and New York Times correspondent Maggie Haberman's description of Harp as a 'binky' or 'comfort blanket' for the 80-year-old president.

Commentator Adam Mockler rejected the framing outright, calling the letters sad rather than admirable, and pressed Robbins to concede the situation was 'weird.' She eventually agreed it was 'odd,' after host Abby Phillip suggested the behavior described sounded like grounds for an intervention rather than a feminist milestone.

Redefining self-erasure as feminist achievement is a neat trick, but it only works if nobody in the room asks the obvious question out loud. Credit to the one person who did.
