Kremlin says enabling Starlink-equipped Ukrainian drones to strike deep inside Russia would be ‘reckless’

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a Russian state broadcaster that providing Starlink data to enable Ukrainian drone strikes deep inside Russian territory would be a damaging and reckless step. He also said he expects Rassvet, Russia's homegrown answer to Starlink, to become more effective soon.

The comments follow Finnish President Alexander Stubb's public appeal to Elon Musk to expand Starlink coverage so Ukraine could hit missile launchers on Russian soil. Ukraine has sought this capability for some time; the Financial Times has reported Musk was open to it but deferred the political decision to the White House.
