Ukraine downs 131 Russian missiles and drones - Air Force

Russia launched ballistic and cruise missiles alongside 157 drones overnight into September 17, targeting Kyiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, Ukraine's Air Force reported. The arsenal included Onyx missiles from Kursk, Iskander-M and other ballistic missiles from Bryansk and Voronezh, Kalibr missiles from the Caspian Sea, and Shahed-type drones launched from occupied Crimea and Donetsk.

Ukrainian air defense shot down or suppressed 131 of the incoming targets, including 124 drones and 7 missile-drones, with impacts recorded across 36 locations and debris causing damage at five sites. Sixteen civilians were injured in Kyiv, including two children, with structural damage across three districts.

In Odesa, a strike damaged a multi-story residential building, wounding three civilians and destroying apartments across three floors.
