Russian forces strike critical infrastructure facility in Dnipro

Russian forces struck a critical infrastructure facility in Dnipro on Sept. 21, damaging windows in a nearby store, according to regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha; casualty information was still being clarified. The same overnight period saw drone strikes on infrastructure in Poltava Oblast, an enterprise in Chernihiv Oblast, and targets in Kirovohrad Oblast.

Ukraine's Air Force reported 172 Shahed-type and decoy drones launched overnight, of which 147 were downed, with hits recorded at 14 locations. Zaporizhzhya's city center was struck as well, damaging a historic university building, multi-story buildings, and a shopping center, injuring five people; a large fire also broke out at warehouses in Boyarka, Kyiv Oblast.
