Club for Growth Action, the super PAC arm of the conservative Club for Growth, aims to raise and spend $175 million this cycle, according to its president, and had raised more than $50 million by Aug. 31 with about $5 million spent on independent expenditures. The group says its mission is to hold any member of Congress accountable on economic conservatism “regardless of party,” though its spending so far has gone almost entirely toward Republican primary races.
Much of that 2026 cycle money has come from one donor, Susquehanna co-founder Jeff Yass. The PAC's targets include opposing Republican Casey Askar in Florida and Democrat Aftyn Behn in Tennessee, and it has funneled more than $4.5 million to an affiliated super PAC, Win It Back PAC.

✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
Calling yourself regardless of party while your spending runs almost entirely one direction is the kind of claim that only survives if nobody checks the ledger. One donor carrying most of a $175 million ambition isn't really a movement, it's a checkbook with a mission statement stapled to it. The group can call it free-market principle, but it reads more like a very expensive favor.
