Ukraine's Defense Ministry says Starshield, the military-grade version of Starlink, is fully operational again for Ukrainian forces after reports of restrictions began October 14.

Officials say they are in contact with partners to determine what caused the disruption, though no cause has been named publicly. The outage surfaced amid a tense stretch in relations between Trump and Zelensky, and Washington has not officially confirmed imposing any restrictions. Elon Musk has said only the Pentagon could limit the system's operation.

A system either breaks or somebody breaks it, and right now nobody in Washington wants to say which. Funny how a thing that was down for a day just happens to resume right when everyone starts asking who flipped the switch. A farmer whose fence falls down the same week he has a fight with the neighbor learns to expect a few questions too.
