The White House issued a self-authored report card on President Trump's record in Texas, crediting the administration with historic tax relief, falling crime, a sealed border and a wave of new investment, all in the same press release.
The release ties each claim to the same closing argument: America First means Texas First, and the opposing party would tear it all down. No independent data, agency figures, or named sources accompany any of the specific claims.

✒ FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK
When a man tells you his own report card came back all A's, you'd like to see the paper with the teacher's handwriting on it. This one lists tax relief, crime, the border and new investment, and not a single figure from anybody outside the building that printed it. Texans can check their own paychecks and their own streets, which is more than the press release bothered to do.
