Karachi's water and sewerage rates are going up by an average 7.5 percent starting July 1, after the Sindh government approved a revised tariff tied to the Consumer Price Index.
The new schedule sets monthly charges for residential plots based on size, plus fixed monthly fees for commercial centres and shops. A formal gazette notification has been issued to make it official.
