The race to replace Charlie Kirk is being led by conservative women

Newsweek marked the anniversary of Charlie Kirk's assassination by ranking five conservative women on a weighted 100-point scale measuring youth reach, audience growth, Gen Z penetration, media influence and mobilization infrastructure. Alex Clark topped the list at 93.4, followed by Brett Cooper at 81.3 and Riley Gaines at 80.2, all building audiences through podcasts and short-form video rather than cable television.

Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk's widow, took over Turning Point USA itself, while a researcher told Newsweek the rise of female-led figures shows the movement has 'normalized' its family-values messaging through women. Gaines, for her part, said she thinks less about follower counts and more about moving people toward truth and action.

Ranking who gets to be the next big voice, complete with a decimal point like 93.4, is the kind of thing that sounds scientific until you remember somebody just made up the weights. A man is dead one year and the trade press already has a leaderboard for his old job. That says more about the media business than about anybody on the list.
