A Russian drone struck a 24-story residential building in Kyiv's Darnytskyi District overnight, hitting near the 11th and 12th floors and starting a fire that tore through interior walls, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Five people were injured, three of them hospitalized.

Rescuers evacuated 23 residents from the building, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
