Ukrainian electronic warfare apparently knocked a Russian attack drone off course and into Lithuanian airspace, the country’s president says

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said a Russian Gerbera drone shot down by NATO fighter jets over Lithuania on Sept. 15 was likely intended for Ukraine but was knocked off course by Ukrainian electronic warfare systems. It was the first drone destroyed over Lithuanian airspace, downed between Kaunas and Kaišiadorys, roughly 62 miles from Vilnius. Defense Minister Robertas Kaunas said the drone carried an explosive device that was safely defused.
