Strike drones hit Moscow and neighboring Yaroslavl Oblast on August 28, sparking fires and prompting regional authorities to suspend outbound traffic and reroute public transit, according to officials and monitoring channels.

Ukrainian defense company Fire Point said its drones struck the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery, one of Russia's largest, with an annual capacity of roughly 15 million metric tons of crude. Moscow's mayor claimed air defenses intercepted two drones headed for the capital, while a fire was reported in Pavlovsky Posad.
