Russian forces struck the Kyiv region for more than 24 hours, damaging 31 sites across five districts, according to regional military administration head Tymur Tkachenko. Four people died in the attacks: three children and a woman, though Tkachenko did not specify where the deaths occurred. A separate count from Ukraine's Interior Ministry put the toll at three dead, two of them children, tied to damage at a private home.
The heaviest damage was reported in the Fastiv district, where 24 sites were hit, including homes, industrial and utility buildings, farmland, and 17 vehicles. Obukhiv, Brovary, and Bucha districts were also struck. Officials said the strikes were ongoing as of the report.
