If the ads were really just about loving your country, it's odd how much ink the White House needs to explain they aren't about anything else. A neighbor who keeps telling you his new billboard isn't advertising, it's a friendly reminder, still bought the billboard. And he bought this one with your money. Nobody's name has to be on a ballot for a thing to be politics, and the folks paying the airtime bill can tell the difference without a press release.
