Five Russian drones violate Moldovan airspace during massive strike on Ukraine

Moldova's Defense Ministry reported five Russian drones briefly crossed into its airspace overnight during a large-scale Russian strike on Ukraine, with each incursion lasting only minutes before the drones returned to Ukrainian territory. The drones were tracked near Biliaivka, Starokozache, Palanca, and other border areas, with one disappearing from radar near the breakaway Transnistria region.

The overnight barrage on Ukraine itself involved 258 drones, two Oniks anti-ship missiles, and ballistic missiles, striking Odesa, Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, and other regions. Kyiv reported missile debris in two districts, and a Kryvyi Rih industrial strike injured at least two people.
