Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported a large fire at an infrastructure facility in Kyiv Oblast's Fastiv district after a Russian jet-powered drone and loitering munition attack on the evening of Sept. 5, with firefighters extinguishing the blaze and no casualties reported at the site.
The attack triggered air-raid alerts across eastern and southern Ukraine, and by evening on Sept. 5, 28 sites across five districts of Kyiv Oblast had sustained damage, including homes, warehouses, railway tracks and an agricultural facility.
A separate strike on Bucha district the same day killed two people, according to regional authorities.
