The 13th Annual NoHo CineFest runs August 27-30 at LOOK Dine-In Cinemas Glendale, featuring more than 100 independent features and shorts along with filmmaker Q&As. The headline event is the world premiere of The Fox Sisters, a historical drama about the sisters whose claimed communications with the dead helped launch the American Spiritualist movement, with director Wagner de Assis and cast attending.
Festival founder Gustavo Sampaio said the event aims to connect filmmakers with audiences and industry professionals, with sponsors including Film Functions and Social Agent supporting this year's programme.
