A Russian jet-powered drone struck the Manufaktura shopping mall in Sumy on Sept. 10, hitting the same building damaged in a Sept. 9 attack, according to city military administration chief Serhii Kryvosheienko. The building had been closed for repairs, and the new strike sparked a fire that crews worked to contain, with no casualties reported yet from this second attack.

The Sept. 9 strike killed three people, including a 21-year-old man and woman, and injured 21 others including three children. City officials said Sumy was mourning those killed as the second attack unfolded.
