A financial planner named Lauryn Williams has identified a phenomenon she calls financial guilt, in which people feel bad about spending money or not giving enough of it away.

NPR's Life Kit turned this into a comic, illustrated by Abi Inman and reported by Marielle Segarra, offering three categories of financial guilt and suggestions for addressing them.
