Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus has been designated the emergency third-string quarterback and emergency third-string running back for Sunday's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The move comes because Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. are both injured, leaving Cooper Rush, who is nursing back spasms, and Jack Strand as the only healthy quarterbacks on the active roster. Running back depth is similarly thin, with only Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson as true backs available.

Zaccheaus, who returned to Atlanta on a two-year deal after starting his career there as an undrafted free agent, is not expected to see the field at either position barring injury.
