Ukraine has raised 50 million euros from the Council of Europe Development Bank and the Italian government for housing certificates under the eVidnovlennya program, Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi said, intended to help about 2,200 families who lost homes in the war.
Koretskyi described the sum as the first tranche of an additional 100 million euros under the HOME project agreed during URC-2026 in Gdansk, building on a prior 200 million euros that financed more than 6,000 housing certificates.
Separately, Ukraine received 2.9 billion euros from the EU under the Ukraine Facility program on October 2, the same day the Financial Times reported that European Commissioners Valdis Dombrovskis and Marta Kos had rejected Kyiv's request for additional early 2026 funding, telling Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk that further money depends on carrying out agreed reforms.
