A Russian drone struck a Ukrposhta delivery truck near Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast, injuring driver Serhii with acoustic barotrauma and destroying roughly 500 parcels, CEO Ihor Smilianskyi said.
Ukrposhta will compensate customers for lost parcels, Smilianskyi added, noting the company intends to continue operating in the region.
The strike follows an Aug. 6 attack that destroyed a Ukrposhta sorting depot and mobile post office base in Pavlohrad, killing two employees, and comes amid 24 reported shelling incidents across the oblast in the prior day.
