CNN's Dana Bash Takes Aim At 'Gross' Michigan Voter Bias In Poll

A Washington Post poll of the Michigan Senate race found Democrat Abdul El-Sayed with a narrow lead over Republican Mike Rogers, alongside an 8-point statewide preference for Democrats. Buried in the same poll: 45% of respondents said they would not consider voting for a Muslim president.

CNN anchor Dana Bash called that number 'just gross' on air, and analyst Nia-Malika Henderson drew a comparison to bias Barack Obama faced in 2008. Both agreed El-Sayed will have to contend with the sentiment as his campaign continues.
