COSI Hits 15 Emmy® Awards as Dr . B in 3 Expands Science Learning Beyond the Museum

COSI, the Center of Science and Industry in Columbus, Ohio, won two 2026 Emmy Awards for its educational series Dr. B in 3, bringing its total to 15 Emmys, ten of them for that series. The show explains scientific topics in three-minute animated segments covering subjects from consumer technology to space exploration.

COSI has also distributed nearly 425,000 STEAM kits to students in more than 40 states and seven countries since 2020 through its Learning Lunchbox program, and supports STEAM career outreach through Boeing-backed HIVE Roadshows. President Dr. Frederic Bertley said the awards affirm that science learning can happen beyond the museum's walls.
