Tom Homan denied accusations of racial profiling in the administration's deportation operations, responding to Florida Senate candidate Angie Nixon's warning that ICE cannot distinguish Black Americans from immigrants and will 'shoot and kill' people based on appearance.

Homan told Fox News that ICE needs 'reasonable suspicion' to question people and 'probable cause' to arrest them, calling himself an 'equal opportunity deporter' who removed people to 180 countries last year regardless of skin color.

His denial runs against the administration's own position: it asked the Supreme Court to block a lower court order barring immigration officers from using racially loaded factors like apparent ethnicity or language in arrests, a request the Court granted 6-3 in Perdomo v. Noem, allowing agents to rely on a single such factor alone.

The gap between 'we don't racially profile' and asking the nation's highest court to bless racial profiling is not subtle, it's a straight line.
