Karoline Leavitt told Fox News's Sean Hannity that Democrats like Texas Senate candidate James Talarico campaign as moderates before governing as “radical extreme liberal lunatics,” describing the shift as doing “360s” on every policy position. Social media users, including a self-described former math teacher, quickly pointed out that a 360-degree turn returns to the exact same starting position, meaning her own phrasing described consistency rather than reversal.
The clip circulated widely on X with multiple users suggesting she meant “180,” the term commonly used for a full reversal. No correction or clarification from Leavitt was noted in the coverage.

If you're going to call the other side lunatics on national television, it helps to know which way you're turning. By her own arithmetic, the Democrats she described ended up right where they started, which is about the most consistent compliment a politician can get from an opponent. A former math teacher had to straighten it out for free, and nobody on that set seemed to notice the lesson was overdue.
