Ukraine's 23rd Assault Regiment R.U.H., part of the Khartiia Corps, says it liberated another 4 square kilometers of territory in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast, clearing ground between Dvorichna and Zapadne alongside the 35th Separate Marine Brigade. The announcement follows earlier claims of 7.5 square kilometers of forest cleared on Aug. 25 and 2 more square kilometers on Aug. 30, bringing that running total to 13.5 square kilometers.
The unit, formed under Ukraine's National Guard and including foreign personnel, says it conducts assault operations, aerial reconnaissance, and missions using drones and ground robots. It previously took part in liberating territory north of Kupiansk and clearing the city itself, and says it continues operations in the sector.
