Russian forces struck an infrastructure facility in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, with a jet-powered drone on Oct. 9, regional officials said. Ukraine's Air Force had warned earlier that day that such drones were approaching the city, and emergency crews began rescue operations after explosions were reported.
Information on casualties was still being clarified. The strike follows an Oct. 6 attack on a medical facility in the same city that injured five people, two of them hospitalized in serious condition.
