Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to use his UN General Assembly address to publicly rebuke New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who has called him a war criminal and accused him of genocide against Palestinians. In a video statement, Netanyahu said he intended to defend Israeli soldiers and falsely accused Mamdani of supporting Hamas.

When the man skips the sitting American president but finds time to needle a city council's least favorite target, that is not diplomacy, that is a campaign ad with better catering.
