The Kyiv School of Economics has named former prime minister Yulia Svyrydenko to head its Business School, the institution told NV Business, after she left the premiership in July following a cabinet reshuffle and reportedly declined Zelenskyy's offer to become ambassador to Washington.

In her new post, Svyrydenko says she will focus on developing business education for what she calls new realities of management, technology and competition, framing Ukraine's wartime improvisation as a teachable export. KSE president Tymofiy Mylovanov added that war is outpacing traditional education systems, without specifying what the school will do differently.

Svyrydenko spent four years as first deputy prime minister and economy minister before her one-year run as premier ended this summer. She has also been mentioned as a possible future chair of Naftogaz's supervisory board, suggesting her landing at KSE may be a stop rather than a destination.
