The White House says First Lady Melania Trump has signed up Adobe, Amazon, Intel, Starlink, Google, and Zoom as new partners for her Fostering the Future Together initiative, with the companies pledging a combined $23 million in tools, training, and grants for children worldwide.

According to the release, Google will spend $4 million expanding its educator program, Intel will deploy programs across ten countries, Amazon will extend free access to its AI coding assistant to millions of students, and Zoom Cares will hand out $2.75 million in grants across four continents.

The release also touts the initiative's growth into a 'global coalition of nations' with regional events planned in the Philippines, Poland, and Saint Kitts and Nevis, and reminds readers that the White House hosted the largest gathering of First Spouses in U.S. diplomatic history.

When a company gives your kids free access to its coding assistant, it's handing out free samples at the grocery, and the grocer knows exactly which aisle those kids will shop in when they grow up. Twenty-three million sounds like a lot until you set it next to what Amazon and Google spend on a slow Tuesday. And bragging about the largest gathering of First Spouses in diplomatic history is like bragging you threw the biggest potluck on your street. Nice casserole. Nobody was counting.
