Letters allegedly written by White House aide Natalie Harp to President Trump were published in full by The Daily Beast, following partial excerpts earlier run by the New York Times. The letters reportedly date to a 2023 golf trip to Scotland and Ireland, during which Harp was photographed disembarking Trump's plane.

In the letters, Harp apologizes for various perceived missteps during the trip — including being left behind at an airport, walking a golf course instead of using a cart, and seeming distracted — and expresses distress at the idea of being 'lowered' in Trump's opinion.

The letters' publication follows Sen. Jon Ossoff's passing reference to Harp in a speech last Sunday, which the White House met with what the piece describes as fury and indignation, and comes after Harp drew scrutiny for being among the handful of staffers who accompanied Trump into a catering truck and separate military plane while leaving a NATO summit.
