By the morning of August 21, only one gas station in Gelendzhik — a Lukoil outlet in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka — was still selling gasoline, with other local stations reduced to diesel only, according to the city administration. By that evening, independent outlet iStories found that station had run dry too, confirmed by a nearby hotel clerk and drivers in a local fuel-tracking chat group.

Tuapse saw a similar squeeze: of 14 operating stations, only one sold 95-octane gasoline and two sold 92-octane that same morning.
