South Africa arrests three more suspects, after nine women murdered

Two women, 31 and 38, appeared in court in South Africa charged with murder, obstruction, and weapons possession in the killing of Jabulile Ntimba, the ninth body found in Kempton Park over two months. A third suspect, the brother of one of the women, was not charged for lack of evidence.

Police are investigating whether one or more serial killers are responsible; most victims were found partly clothed on roadsides. President Cyril Ramaphosa pledged more resources to find those responsible, as another woman's body was found separately in Soweto and two alleged serial rapists face unrelated court dates in KwaZulu-Natal.
