No. 4 Texas trailed No. 1 Ohio State 23-3 entering the fourth quarter on Saturday night at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, then scored three straight touchdowns to win 24-23.

Quarterback Arch Manning went 23 of 37 for 196 yards, one touchdown, and an interception that bounced off a receiver's hands, adding 22 yards rushing. He told ABC afterward that the loss to Ohio State last season, which helped keep a three-loss Texas out of the playoff, had given him nightmares.

The win puts Texas back in the national championship conversation and gives the Longhorns some cushion in their nine-game SEC schedule for a playoff bid.
