Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha says Russia is preparing dozens of staged videos in occupied Oleshky, Kherson Oblast, in which residents will be forced to say on camera they are happy, well-fed, and grateful to Russian occupiers.
Sybiha describes this as the latest step in a weeks-long campaign to deny a humanitarian catastrophe in the city, where Russian forces have restricted residents' ability to leave and blocked aid deliveries; food was last delivered by Russia on May 26, and residents reportedly resorted to eating dogs.
Ukrainian forces have used drones to deliver roughly 4,000 kilograms of food to the city, and Sybiha has repeatedly called on international organizations to demand humanitarian access.
