Kremlin on Ukrainian strikes on Ozon warehouses: ‘Responses are felt in Kyiv every day, every night’

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Russian forces will keep striking Ukrainian territory in response to Ukrainian drone attacks on warehouses belonging to Ozon, a Russian e-commerce platform, saying Kyiv already 'feels' the response nightly. He cited Vladimir Putin's characterization of the strikes as Ukraine opening 'Pandora's box' by hitting Russian civilian logistics facilities.

Ukraine's military has spent three days hitting Ozon warehouse complexes, following earlier strikes on warehouses belonging to another marketplace, Wildberries, and on Russian oil refineries. Peskov claimed the strikes cannot affect front-line dynamics.

The feed also notes that Russian forces have struck Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, including logistics and food warehouses and shopping centers — a strike on a Kryvyi Rih shopping center on August 21 killed 16 people and injured about 130.
