A Russian drone strike hit a warehouse facility near Bucha in Kyiv Oblast on Aug. 28, triggering a fire and a lengthy series of secondary explosions. Authorities closed a stretch of the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway in both directions as a precaution.

Ukrainian PM Sergii Koretskyi indicated the site stored munitions and drew a direct comparison to a July strike on an ammo depot in Vyshneve outside Kyiv, calling the repetition 'criminal negligence' and demanding accountability for those responsible.
