Ukraine's State Emergency Service says rescue operations have concluded at a 25-story Odesa residential building struck by Russian forces on Sept. 12, with the death toll rising to two after a body was recovered overnight. Twenty-six people were injured, including one child, and seven people including two children were rescued from the building.
The strike sparked fires on the building's upper floors and caused significant structural damage. A second strike on Sept. 13 hit a high-rise, private homes, two schools and other infrastructure in Odesa, though no casualties were reported in that attack.
