Russia is bringing its terror to the doorstep of the EU and NATO – Estonian FM

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said Russia struck near the Yahodyn border checkpoint on September 13, close enough to the Polish frontier that he called it terror brought to the EU and NATO's doorstep. His own staff had crossed that same checkpoint shortly before the strike, and a separate train carrying senior European officials, including Boris Johnson, had passed through the area 90 minutes earlier.

Tsahkna called for immediate delivery of military aid and air defense systems to Ukraine along with tougher sanctions targeting Russian war revenue, framing support for Ukraine as an investment in Europe's own security rather than charity. Ukrainian Railways confirmed the officials' train had already crossed before the attack, while former CIA director David Petraeus was reportedly at the station on a different train when the strike occurred.
